Insulin, cortisol, ghrelin, leptin, estrogen – these are some of the hormones that keep the trains running on schedule. Many things can interrupt those processes, though. We chat with Dr. Leslie Meyers about small steps we can take to manage our stress and energy levels, sleep cycles, metabolism and more, and how to know if we need help getting things in check. Dr. Meyers rocks at explaining our physiology in understandable terms, and how health translates to the day-to-day. There won’t be a test, but we’d all ace it if there were!
